Matthew J. McLaughlin, Esquire

Matthew J. McLaughlin, an Erie native, attended Cathedral Preparatory High School, Georgetown University and The Dickinson School of Law. He is a member of the Bar of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. Mr. McLaughlin continues a tradition of providing quality legal service in the Erie area, as both his father, John McLaughlin, and brother, the Honorable Sean McLaughlin, are Erie attorneys who have enjoyed distinguished careers.

Mr. McLaughlin has maintained a civil practice in Erie for the past 20 years, concentrating in the areas of personal injury, automobile accidents and injuries, medical malpractice, wrongful death and workers' compensation. He was a hearing examiner for the Erie County Human Relations Commission and is the solicitor for the Erie County Convention Center Authority and an assistant solicitor for Erie County. Mr. McLaughlin is active in the community and was a former Board member of the Mercy Center for Women and currently serves on the Board of the Barber National Institute.
