David G. Ridge

David G. Ridge, Esquire

David Ridge was born and raised in Erie. He received a B.A. from Allegheny College in 1982 and graduated from Pitt Law School in 1985. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and to the United States District Court Bar in November 1985 and before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in December 1994. He was also admitted before the Supreme Court of the United States in August 2004. He is admitted in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Northern District of Ohio and the Eastern District in Michigan.

David has served on the Board of Directors of the Erie County Bar Association and is a member of the PA Trial Lawyers Association and the PA Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He has served with the Disciplinary Board of PA as a hearing committee chairman and has been a guest lecturer at various colleges and criminal law seminars.

Active in the community, David is a former president of MYAA Football and a member of the FLAG Baseball organization. He has coached boys' baseball for the last five years. He is also actively involved with Presque Isle Advisory Committee and is the Chairman of the Friends of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. He is a member of S.O.N.S. and A.B.A.T.E.

Practicing extensively in both criminal defense and civil litigation, David has won some of the most widely known trials in Western Pennsylvania, in addition to handling cases throughout the state and in Federal Court in Michigan, Ohio and throughout Pennsylvania.
